There are several different kinds of theories. We have the system theory, conflict theory, exchange theory, and symbolic interaction theory.
Lets first define Theory, theory is something explaining why things happen. System theory is the fact that "whole is greater than one part" All things together work better than all of us a part. Conflict theory is not a fight but a quarrel. Where more than 2 people have different opinions. This mostly includes things like feminism. Exchange theory is " he owes me one" the fact where we can't give anything without knowing we will receive something back. symbolic interaction theory is where everything means something. Different emotions and actions. Such as How what we listen to symbolizes our moods. These different theories connect because we can't have one without another. When we are all gather together working as one, we will all have conflicts and other symbolic aspects in our lives. I never realized that these ideas had different theories and studies about them. They all do have a very real aspect in our lives. Questions: I am interested in know what your thoughts are... When you go into a project or something that is going to be a lot of work do you do it by yourself or with someone? Why is that? Do you like conflict? Do you specifically bring up things that you know will start an argument? Do you hid what you're feeling so that you don't start an argument? When someone asks you to do something for them do you reply with "yes or what am I going to get out of it? Or what are you thinking in your head?" What is something that you do that has symbolism to you or others? Be honest!! I feel like this relates but it possibly might not but you should take the love language test and tell me what it is, also let me know if that's what you thought it was. here's a link: http://www.5lovelanguages.com/profile/

Everything connects some how. Don't you believe this. We were put on earth by God and he has a plan for us to be able to get back to Heaven. We have to have sin to be able to know good and evil. We also have the atonement to be able to get back to Heaven. This trends of all kinds of connections too. -premarital sex - births to unmarried women - living alone -cohabitation - delayed marriage -birth rates declines - household size - employed mothers increasing - divorces What are some connections you come up with? Can you see the difference between them? Either being significant, interesting or No big deal. We listened to some articles about baby boom. How we need a growth rate of 2.1 to be able to continually rise at a good ration of time. These items of interest connect easily for me. They also seem really opposite. You would think because of the list of trends that world numbers would be higher but actually 70 countries are below this rate. Families and marriage should be a very important aspect but in the world today it is lacking that value of importance. Premarital sex might seem simple and easy but just because you have sex it has so many other effects to you and the others around you. What happens if you do become a mother and you now are living alone. Maybe have to become employed because your baby daddy wants nothing to do with you. Also you could have gotten married to your baby daddy but what if it doesn't work out and you now have a divorce. You could also not have been married at all you're just cohabitating together. Do you see how they all can be connected. We also delay marriage which causes us to have less children or skip a generation because of not having kids tell later. Some numbers that i thought were interesting was the difference between non- LDS and LDS delaying marriage ages. Non- LDS IS 26-28 and LDS is 24-26 who would have guessed that LDS is at a younger age? I would have, maybe because I am in an environment where we are suppose to get married and have kids. Do you understand how these connect? They all do in one way or a million others. I don't believe that anyone strives for failor. Not saying that if any of these things have happened to people makes the failor's but there is a right or easier order for things why don't we all pick that direction? The simple answer would be that it is a temptation for us. Let's think of a better answer though, because we can choose to push satan out of our lives? Think about this and give me some feedback. In a church point of view what are your opinions? Do you think that this is your decision? Does God have a part in this decision? Aren't we commanded to multiply and replenish the earth? Should we wait to be financially ready to start having kids? Should we wait to have a degree and settled in a home? But isn't it hard to have a kid in college? Give me your thoughts. Thanks.
